Committee Budget Spending Guidelines
- All expenditures funded
through community assessments must be open to all Rivermoore Park residents
in good standing. Functions not open to the entire community, will not be
funded.
- All activities funded
through community assessments must be advertised as follows: RP email
distribution list, on the
Rivermoore Park website, include flyer in the RP newsletter, on
the front bulletin board [NOTE: removed earlier 2006] and on the
bulletin board near the tennis courts and pool (if accessible).
- All event advertisements
should be posted or published (website, newsletter, etc.) at least one month
(1 month) in advance. Information should be included in the RP newsletter
(if possible) prior to event to help promote and encourage attendance.
- The Rivermoore Park
homeowner’s association funds allocated will not pay for alcoholic
beverages.
- Proposed expenditures
must be submitted to the board for approval a minimum of three months in
advance for amounts $500 and greater. For all other expenditures, the
committee should notify the board of the event and the expected expense. A
budget balance must also be submitted at this time to ensure the committee
requesting the money does not exceed their planned budget for the year.
Special Reminder ... When posting signage in the
neighborhood (yard sales, special events, etc.), all posters MUST be on self
supporting wood & should not be stapled, nailed, tacked, glued, taped (you get
the point) to any posts (like stop signs, yield signs, etc.). This is not
to be mean, but to help reduce maintenance costs for painting our amenities,
etc. Signage may be removed if not self supporting.
